Water Infrastructure / Northern Pipeline Interconnector Stage 1 & 2

LinkWater, the trading name of the Queensland Bulk Water Transport Authority, a former statutory authority of the Government of Queensland was in operation between 2008 and 2012.

During this period, the authority was responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of potable bulk water pipelines and related infrastructure throughout Southeast Queensland, in Australia.

  • Management of LinkWater’s existing property interests/assets.
  • Management of commercial acquisition programs in support of LinkWater’s present and future projects.
  • Management of acquisition of land interests through formal legislative processes in consultation with alliances or contractors to meet program and schedule.
  • Direct liaison with the Department of Infrastructure and Planning and the Coordinator-General’s office in all matters concerning land and compulsory acquisition.
  • Management and development of appropriate information systems and databases to meet organisational requirements.
  • Stratgic tenure assessment in pipeline corridor’s selection.
