In 1998, John Sturgeon identified a consistent problem in both the private and public sector: timely and reliable land access and delivery. He founded SCGroup and started providing clients with solutions to ensure projects’ land requirements were met.
Since that time, SCGroup has grown and developed, now boasting a team of industry leading professionals who have planned and delivered strategies on some of Australia’s most complex and unique infrastructure projects.
In 2022, SCGroup made a deliberate decision to expand its services to meet the growing needs of the exploration and mining industry. This expanded our service offering to include community, stakeholder, cultural and First Nations people engagement.
John and his wife Kylie are joined by co-directors Patrick Leahy and Shane Goodwin. Together, they lead an experienced team who have become renowned in the industry for being innovative, persistent and genuine.
